Fortuna

Fortuna is an ongoing series, a surreal street documentation of Italian culture. I search for signs of mysticism in urban environments: locations where time is displaced, through juxtapositions of strange objects, unnatural light or placement on the fringes of our society. The camera is a device to trap time and bend light. The images speak to my imagination, by documenting the brevity of the present moment, imbued with elements of history, folklore or symbolism.
