Mabanga is a common mollusk on the coast of Angola. This project documents the reality of Angolan women who are working hard to remove the mabangas from the shell to sell in markets in the capital, Luanda. It's a job exclusively made by women, be they young women, mothers or grandmothers. Seated on the top of mountains made of empty shells, they work from sun up to the sun in a remarkable team spirit and camaraderie
