"Τhe professional wrestling is staged"
This phrase was left in my mind by the time that the Greek tv was presenting American giants of professional wrestling and the Greek audience was watching.
For two decades I lost the tracks of this "sport", as this was buried along with the Decade of 90.
Twenty-five years after I heard about ZMAK. Some brought the phenomenon of Pro-wrestling and I was tempted to see it live.
Five hours next to the wrestlers/performers were enough to realize that it is shameful to use the word "staged".
A small professional organisation. Bodybuilders, actors, wrestlers, directors, technicians.
An enviable production with one objective. A lot of pain and unexpected sight. The end of the show, finds others in hospital with broken ribs, concussions, stitches and other at their colleague's hugs.
Opponents are only the time of special show. After becoming a knit strange family.
I can assure you. The professional wrestling is no longer "staged"
