VALUE OF EVERY MOMENT
With millions of daily riders, Tokyo’s metro system is the busiest in the world. At first glance, passengers seem to lose time in transit and individuality in the mass. As life is a continuous physical and mental process, however, every moment has a particular meaning for oneself, the society, and the environment. This series "highlights" 10 moments at/near Ueno Station, Tokyo, with personal, inter-personal, and/or graphical value.
The project was developed in 2014 during a Magnum workshop in cooperation with the Tokyo Institute of Photography.
