The air that I lack

This series belong to a personal project made in north of Brazil with the Guajajara indigenous tribe in Maranhão. The poorest State in the country. With powerful abusive politicians around them, the Indians live with the pain of feeling banished from their own land. I was moved by the anarchical atmosphere that reigns at the relations among them and with the nature. I've found a place filled with a suffocation between happiness and sadness. It is a land far outside of the media eye — it is a real land.
