The intention of this ongoing work is to uncover the ambivalence of the self and awaken a psychological reaction both in the viewer and myself. They are an expression of my inner and outer landscape made up of thoughts and emotions, rooted in the present but contain everything that has shaped me. Identity is an obsession of contemporary life. The nature of oneself is a constant negotiation between our self, our environment and the people in our environment. It is unstable but rhythmical and I want my images to reflect this.
