The ephemeral happiness
Today's modern society is pushing us increasingly towards the pursuit of happiness, an easy, superficial, inconsistent happiness. It is an ephemeral happiness.
Happiness today is often a consumerist action: We aim to have and immediate happiness, without effort. But at what price? We are willing to do anything to have an infinitesimal fraction of happiness. It's not just a mere economic issue, but we put into play much more. We are wasting important parts of us.
This ephemeral happiness once vanished leaves us with an inner emptiness much more deep to that which it would have had to fill.
