HAND

This is an ongoing project following craftsmen and craftswomen who play crucial roles contributing their skill to make our everyday items. Clothing, shoes or any fabric, no matter how the industry moves to fast and cheap products, without these crucial hands, there are no such items around us. Rather than documenting the actual process I decided to focus on their hands. Most items have been through more than a few of these hands. Once I realised all hands are unique and hold individual character I appreciated more what they create. The project is ongoing and expanding to other industries.
