鴉都　BLACK BIRD LAND (2019)

The growing number of crows, especially in the cities, now has become a big problem in Japan. And it gave a sense of disgust for crows among the Japanese. But in fact, this problem was caused by the citizens themselves, such as their disregard for the garbage issue. We buy anything we want, and when we don’t need it, we throw out the garbage outside very easily, expecting it to get out of my site. So crows, scattering our garbage, reveal our desire for the better, much better life. In this sense, crows represent contradiction among us, living in the metropolis. We think we are looking at crows, but in fact, we are being watched by them. Their eyes show our desire.
