Silken Surf

Silken surf is a series of images taken over a 6 month period on the same stretch of beach but at different times. My aim is to bring these beach breakers to life by showing the individual character of each one.As I progressed with this project I was surprised at how different each wave looks and by slowing the shutter speed how they developed a personality of their own.
