Submission

This project came from having grown up in a violently abusive and oppressive household. The abuse was physical as well as mental and emotional. Each image depicts a feeling or scene from childhood to adulthood where I have been finally able to see beyond the obstructions created by my upbringing and the learned behavior that resulted from it and the beginning of my escape from it all. This project has been incredibly cathartic to a level that I had no idea.
