Cathedrals

„Cathedrals“ is an attempt to determine cornerstones of western society and transform them into a sacred context. Here the secularized human being is seen as deeply faithful. It's no longer a religious/Christian faith rather than faith in capitalistic ideology and its mechanism. Symbolized cathedrals are created, which should recall Christian architecture and symbols on the one hand and represent current architecture, social values, and conventions on the other. They appear in components like transportation, medication, patriarchy, security, consumerism, genetic engineering, data, media, and energy. Through the spiritualization of these objects, they unfold their significance for western society and reveal its visions and ideas.
