NY: The day was angry

In the series "The day was angry" I follow up my work "O dia se zangou" made in Rio de Janeiro in 2013, but instead of visiting the beaches of Rio, I visited the beaches of Brighton Beach and Coney Island in New York. The series was all photographed during the winterstorm of January 21, 2014, the third of that winter and the strongest since February 2013, with approximately accumulation of 9 to 14 inches of snow. This work follows the same linear aesthetic of "The day got angry" photographed in Rio, showing the beaches, surroundings and urban interventions in bad weather, causing the beach to not have the same joy of summer.
