Project: Atlanta, GA Collage Window

Photographic images taken inside the Krog Street Tunnel, “An ever-changing urban canvas of images, words and ideas awaits you in the Krog Street Tunnel linking the eclectic Inman Park and Cabbagetown neighborhoods” of Atlanta, GA. The Grant Park neighborhood, Piedmont Park and the Atlanta, Ga skyline additionally inspired this photographic collage series. During a recent visit, I honed in on my growing skills as a photographer, concentrating my observations, so that I could create a new series of work reflecting my impressions of Atlanta, Ga. Choosing to use a photograph of a window of a home under renovation as the frame for this series, I would like the viewer to envision it as symbolic of changes in their lives. When I took the original photograph of the window the reflection was blurred. I wanted to see more there. Looking closely one now views images of the above places in Atlanta, Ga I found fascinating to capture. I hope you enjoy them! Susy Andrea Kamber
