I have made many trips by bus between New York and Virginia over the years. I always have my camera at hand, and pace my breath to relax, so I can give my full attention to the visual drama that rapidly unfolds along the way. As I gaze through the window while the bus moves at 65 mph, I seek to capture moments of overlapping reality amid the reflected light and mirrored landscapes that appear and disappear in the flash of an eye. The decisive moments reigned every breath I was taking.
