Remember when....? Black edges and soft focus, the feel of these photos reminds me of memories and dreams. Some scenes look better if they don't look DSLR sharp. That's when I pull out my plastic camera and click!
All of these photos were made with a plastic Holga 120 camera and black and white film. I process the film myself and make prints in an old fashioned darkroom. Some prints are sepia or selenium toned, others are hand colored with Marshall's oil based paints and pencils, and Caran D'Arch neopastels. I love the process. It's very satisfying to be involved with an old school craft.
