The death of man

Lent and Semana Santa are key moments in La Antigua Guatemala, when thousands of catholics participate in processions. It starts on Ash Wednesday and the processions end on Easter Sunday, during that time the faithful carry wooden floats with images of Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary, around the floats the processions are accompanied by catholics dressed as Roman Legionnaires, marching bands and thousands of onlookers. This series was made using a view camera and the photos are all on film and scanned. All the photos shot in 2019.
