KUMANO

I live by the area of World Heritage Site, which is “Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range” in Japan. There are several kinds of pilgrimage routes in mountains leaded to shrines. We are surrounded by the sacred nature. I want to express the feelings of nature around us. We sometimes live in harmony with nature, and also sometimes we struggle with nature, and at other times we are brightened up by nature. We live along the seasons. This is the harmony of nature and appreciation for nature.
