Accumulations

Created along the coastal California hillsides and prairie, these photographs are exposures of multiple weeks to several months overlooking the landscape. Built specifically for this project, the cameras used have been designed to look like birdhouses to both blend into the landscape and to deter tampering by the public. While simultaneously surveilling and recording their accumulative exposures, the resulting pictures were made clinging to cliffs and blowing in the breeze along the Northern California coast.
