Spheres of Deviance

This project asks questions about what is normal and what is deviance. Is normal good and deviant bad? Or perhaps normal is mediocrity and deviance is genius? In each artwork in this series the spheres serve as metaphors for different meanings, such as separation from the outside world and from each other, identity, alienation, spirituality etc... The spheres on the heads of the couple are real.They’re made of plastic spherical streetlights. We’ve cut a large hole for head inside these streetlights.
