Over the last few years, I have been reading and hearing more and more negative media reports about the growing misunderstanding and hatred of people in uniform. Why does the uniform evoke such violent and even aggressive reactions in people? And how can I, as a photographer, help to give a correct image of the work of people in uniform. A pure promotional film that only sketches a superficial and socially desirable image does not work to also tell the story and experience of the person wearing the uniform. Because despite the fact that a uniform is literally the physical mask of a person - an extension of his second nature - the person who is wearing the uniform is still present.
