“Monuments” is an exploration of the daily landscape of the Greek province. Landscape dotted with embedded constructions that usually lasts for a long period after the end of their purpose of use.
These constructions carry the characteristics of a monument, whether inadvertent, transient or not, incorporated into the landscape, often without design, use or aesthetics. They remind us of human habits and practices that characterize Greek society in general, and are responsible for the form of the modern Greek landscape.
Purpose of the work is to detect the boundaries of the phenomenon by depicting objects of a different character, which have either fallen into ruins or appear to have risen as such.
