Lacey and Lola

Lacey and Lola are pole dance instructors for Bobbi's Pole Studio in Sydney. They are sexy and smart. I am grateful to them both for putting their trust in me to produce images that try not to exploit but rather reflect the femininity they work so hard on. These images were produced over two separate sessions in the studios. I sought to keep the lighting minimal in many of the images, to capture shadows and used a combination of window and rim light to soften the approach. I was inspired by some boudoir images and then the opportunity arose which I gratefully accepted. With my daily professional life I am always working to a clients brief. It felt liberating to be creative on my own terms.
