A hopeless escape to freedom

I shot this report in a refugee camp on the Greek-Macedonian border. All the time, my eyes were full of tears of sadness, powerlessness and hopelessness. Between the smoke from the burnt tires and the smell of sweat and urine, I could see only one begging eyes. And so far I think - how many of these people have been able to touch freedom and how many of them have lost their lives and hopes along the way.
