Afterwards

The phenomena of small effects that accompany life. The little patterns that remain afterwards, wether it is physical or a fleeting moment. Tiny things often go unnoticed; from a single hair out of place, the layering of scuff upon scuff, a forgotten glance then rediscovered on film, poetic scratches, the slow erosion of a leaf or the flakes and streaks of weathering. Photography for me is a way of seeing, a more directed approach to simply looking. It is childlike discoveries, and the anxiousness of presenting, whilst the aesthetics of grain and mood charm my imagination. I would like my images to work together, a single thread that binds them. But I would also like each image to be observed closely, experienced, and felt. I hope the viewer finds some poetry there, and I hope the viewers feelings change each time the images are seen.
