I am a founding member of Women's Collaborative: Art of the Woman, a collaborative, interpretive work by women, for women; celebrating the positive aspects of women. Please visit our site to learn more about us at http://www.artofthewoman.net Our goal is to collaborate with a diverse group of both women photographers and models to celebrate the positives of being women, as just ourselves, our own beings, making decisions about our own bodies, what and how we shoot, how we are positively portrayed, etc. We are so very proud of the work that we have done in just one year. Many of our participants have gone on to win awards and receive recognition for the work that they have done with us. So I thought it was time to submit some work myself.
