Submission

The images included are part of a pro bono project titled “Save The Salt”. I have been working in conjunction with the Save The Salt Organization in Utah for the past 8 years to bring awareness to the Bonneville Salt Flats dilemma. We are attempting to preserve a National Monument that has been designated as an “area of critical environmental concern” in need of assistance to prevent further destruction by man. I have exhibited and spoken nationally and internationally with this body of work and believe that when art is driven with a purposeful motive, it can help make a change in the world by raising awareness, concerns and inspiring action. In March 2019 we saw success with The State of Utah’s appropriation of $5,000,000 towards restoring the Bonneville Salt Flats.
