I walk in the shadows so others may see the light

In a world where we are constantly overloaded visually I attempt to cut through the clutter and pare down the content of my photos to the bare minimum…almost an exercise in restraint. My photos are deliberately dark and moody. I observe and integrate strong light to illuminate subjects or scenes to bring my photos to life. The images are a graphic interplay of light and shadow. It is hard to identify where my photos are taken and I aim to make memorable graphic statements from fleeting moments that present themselves.
