I began photographing in Haiti over ten years ago when I was documenting and helping set up children's laptop projects for Waveplace, using the revolutionary OLPC computer. The very first pilot program was at a school run by Mercy and Sharing Foundation, now HaitiChildren, founded by Susie Krabacher.
Since then I've been back many times, but now primarily as a photographer. HaitiChildren is an organization specializing in care for abandoned, orphaned disabled and terminally ill children. But it also provides education, water, meals, medical care and therapy for the neighboring community.
