ReflectingYOU - Submission

ReflectingYOU is an experiential photographic project. Human beings are all made of the same substance, part of the same picture - or portrait. ReflectingYOU aims to show this truth by sharing a conscious experience, encouraging an eye-to-eye dialogue and creating a lasting visual artwork in conclusion. Without the use of post-production editing or digital manipulation, by using a mirror each photograph combines two people to create a portrait that both celebrates unique individuality and displays a connection between two individuals. The photographs organically combine the image of two people so that they become one. The resulting image is a visual representation of finding ourselves reflected in all other human beings. ReflectingYOU expresses the idea of one shared humanity. "I have my eye on the central fire, and I am trying to put some mirrors around it to show it to others." C. G. Jung
