By trying to figure out my own definition of aesthetics I’ve stumbled upon other people’s rendition of beauty and their (if any) rationale. We absorb and interpret every aspect of our life to then process it as an individual and forge a unique point of view. Self-analysis then becomes the most powerful mechanism one has to devise such definition for we are sponges of our circumstances. It is only through a collection of situations and conditions that we’re able to create a definition of ourselves, some of those were chosen and well thought through while some others are part of the intricate accidents and unlikely events of our everydayness. With time, we learn to allow ourselves to be marveled; we allow ourselves to understand.
