Facing Nellys

The series follows through the changes of young Roma sisters from rural Hungary. From dropping out of school through surviving without a job to becoming mothers at a young age. A self-assigned, ongoing project since 2009. An essay of portraits on longing, on the whirling of emotions; desire, love, abandonment, disillusionment. The intense moments that permeate the life of a deprived family. Their boundaries of wholesomeness of life lie elsewhere than in the life of the viewer.
