Walking was at first the act of crossing spaces from the natural necessity to move for survival. But once these basic need has been satisfied, walking takes on a symbolic form that has enabled man to dwell in the world. By modifying the sense of the space crossed, walking becomes man's first aesthetic act, penetrating the landscapes to draft a mental image.
The idea here is to walk through deserts to portrait the metaphorical presence of man by intervening or not the resulting photos to evoke echoes of memories.
This artwork is about letting myself drift as an allegory for the eternal wandering of the human spirit through natural and urban landscapes.
