For my personal work I shoot analogue as a way to be more in touch with what’s going on around me. Because the camera and the process is typically slower, it forces me and my subject to be totally present and fully in the moment together. Photographing portraits challenges me to go beyond the boundaries of my own comfort zone and constantly rediscover the people and world around me.
