Submission: Until Daylight - Martijn Oude Grave 2020

I always try to bring out the best in myself and my photography. I have never shared my work before in a competition and have been hiding it in my archives. I consider myself autodidact, very critical of my work. After some intense periods in my life, moving back and forth, I experienced the feeling of stagnation in my work. I have recovered this, found progression and I am ready to share my imagination. The infinite amount of stars and colours, people, stories and emotions that the world has to offer inspire me. For me, this submission focuses on portraits in which I have tried to capture the soul of the humans who are in front of me.
