Recent Portrait Studies

My goal is to make a deliberate image or series of images that are ambiguous while remaining figurative, which have come about as much as possible through chance. In this way I want to accurately record some aspect of empirical and psychological reality, but by allowing for chance and risk, bypass the documentary elements of a photograph in order to bring the image more directly onto the level of conscious and subconscious feeling. (NB: the order to the photographs given here is not set and would ideally be chosen with an editor/curator).
