From the Greek word ekleipsis, which means disappearance, occultation; partial or total. It connotes that a certain individual or matter is absent or has disappeared. My goal is to show bodies that hide their splendor, their life. Yes. Sometimes, even their identity. Is this a form of submission? Stealing the identity is the path to losing the self. In this work, I exhibit elements of nature, natural objects that I submit to a slow process of decay. They are submitted to mistreatment. I cause the loss of their splendor. They lose their identity.
