Fallen trees

Fallen trees is said that 1,000-year-old Yakusugi trees take 1,000 years after they have fallen to return to the earth.There are huge fallen trees lying around everywhere on the island of Yakushima in Japan.The fallen trees are eventually covered with moss, from where new lives bud.Looking at this scenery, the boundary between life and death starts to appear ambiguous.After decaying over a long time, they become new life.
