Mercy Mountain

In Mercy Mountain, I was inspired by the family images captured by Doug Dubois and Virginia Woolf’s novel, To the Lighthouse. Through setting up semi-theatrical scenes and examining the relationship between text and images, I try to explore the complexity of family experience, the sense of loss in intimate relationship, as well as the loose self-awareness and psychological landscape implied in it.
