Shtuchki

My name in Russian sounds very similar to the word shtuka, which means "one thing". So Shtuchki can be translated as "small things", something not really important, but maybe elegant in a way. It's obvious also that this name shows that this little pieces are related to me personally. Technically shtuchki is a body of work made with an iphone. For me it's a pretty different game from shooting with a camera, it allows me be more free and instead of paying attention to subject think more visually. I would call Shtuchki pictures made without any purpose, they are useless. The only reason for their existance is pure curiosity and visual joy. It's also shows the most amazing aspect of photography as a pricess - that you can look at most banal and mundane things and found something interesting, beautiful and refreshing in them
