I have composed this series after several days of confinement for the current pandemic and for this I have used the knowledge that this kind of unusual seeing has provided me through visiting cities from behind the camera lens, a very different way of traveling to which the urbanites have mostly done so far. I have not had commissions like those that a professional photographer has, but I do know that this going behind the camera on conventional tourist trips has allowed me to have a stock of images that in these times of confinement allow me to republish those experiences.
The series evokes that new show to which the wealthy classes had access in BCN after the consolidation of the Passeig de Gràcia, the great cosmopolitan avenue through the large window of the hall of one of these noble houses. Enthroned by this theatrical vision, the current, deserted and unusual panorama that I currently see from my own balcony appears first, which then and emulating this kind of "great tour" that seesighting popularized, follows a whole cosmopolitan tour through various metropolises of the world. world to finish the tour again back to a BCN in the process of a future awakening. Really, having traveled as a photographer was worth it right ...?
