Romanian government ordered national lockdown at the end of March 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic. After going through a couple of weeks of irrational anxiety powered by uncertainty and mixed information, I decided to shut the TV and pick up the camera instead. I photographed details of everyday life, inside the house and around the garden. After a few days, observing the mundane provided not only a never ending source of visual material, but also the most sought after solace in the middle of this crisis.
The photos have been paired rather randomly, based on visual aesthetic, rather than chronology or subject.
