" All truly great thoughts are conceived while walking ," wrote Friedrich Nietzsche. This was what I did over 3 years I spent in Paris. In Paris I walked cycled and sometimes took a bus to discover its leaves of history contained within its streets and palaces and churches and books.Amongst the many subjects street art became not just corridors of the present but graffitti filled spaces that echoed tales of valour and rebellion.Paris for me was more than a hub for hedonists, it was a wellspring of creativity and a haven for history.I was looking anew at street art in the hands of artists who knew struggle and angst and turned into living testimonies of a mosaic of moments.
