I grew up in the very center of Paris and I still live at the same place, near the Louvre Museum. Mass tourism constantly creates fun scenes and has always inspired me all over the years.
In this series, I would like to share in a humorous way the clash of cultures but also the fascination and attraction all these different worlds can feel for each other. And finally, what I want to highlight in this series is how these differences can be so close or similar in some way when they meet.
As an immigrant myself, I feel close to my subject. I found it interesting to offer a series on my immediate environment.
That is why all this series takes place in a the the Louvre and Tuileries National Estate, that has the particularity to be a public space. I voluntary chosen 5 pictures inside and 5 picture outside for the series to be more balanced.
