Series Submission

EPHEMERIS In this photographic series, the artist tells us about his wanderings. As he travels or travels daily, images taken on the fly follow one another, like the pages of a calendar that we flip through, day after day. Accompanied by the date, the place of shooting and a few words, these apparently banal scenes hide a more serious reality, which is revealed to us as soon as we dwell on it a little. Nothing is more joyful than a parade of children on a carnival day – nothing is more sad than the confetti left in the wake of the procession, which will end up polluting our oceans. A logbook that crystallizes the artist’s approach, a series that subtly removes our blinders and calls us to discern the tragic in the anecdotal.
