Many of my photographs focus on urban images, as city life is a favorite subject. There are many languages spoken throughout the world; I am only proficient in English. However, a photograph is universal. My goal is to find special moments, tell stories, and sometimes even entertain. Most of my photos are captured candidly and quickly. I have many influences that affect my photography: the works of b&w photographers from the 1940s-1960s and other artists who explore Surrealism, Cubism, Pop Art, and graffiti artists with their special views of the world. I believe that a good photograph should provoke a response and make you remember it. Great photos have an edge to them, a certain amount of drama; they hold your interest and start you thinking. I strive to attain all these qualities in order to continue to improve my craft.
