This body of work is a reflection of the year 2019 and the lives, moments, and scenes I witnessed across New York City. In a year that proceeded a period of unprecedented stillness. These photographs are centered around the feeling of uninterrupted life, the experience of day to day city movement, joy, and fatigue. The photographs were shot on two film cameras, a Minolta SRT 100 with 55mm f/1.9 Minolta lens and a Fuji Clear Shot 10 with a 29mm Fujinon lens on a variety of film stocks including CineStill, Fuji Film, and Kodak Portra. This body of work is an expression of humanity, life, and the moments we can’t help but appreciate.
