The work is a historical re-enactment of the brothel of the belle epoque which is inspired by the most famous brothel in Paris (La Fleur Blanche) which was open from 1860 to 1943.
It was one of the most luxurious brothels in the city. His clientele included Kings, crown princes, members of the aristocracy, heads of state, ministers...
La Fleur blanche was notably frequented by Toulouse-Lautrec.
For the realization of these photographs I was inspired by works by Toulouse-Lautre, Degas and vintage postcards.
This is a selection of over 50 photographs printed in 100x66 cm format.
