I'm a barista. Ignoring all the snobbery in the industry (baristas are so gross and petty), I think it's relatively easy for anyone to brew a good cup of coffee. All one really needs is an understanding of the basics coupled with practiced techniques. However, I think it's impossible to achieve that 10/10 cup unless the person brewing has developed a style - something that only comes with mindful repetition which translates into a preference. I also think there's an infinite amount of 10/10 cups out there... This is how I see the world (my 10/10 cup) and I document it to share with others in hopes they'll share their 10/10 cups with me, regardless of the medium.
