When I visited Taiwan first time in 2016, I was captured by the atmosphere of the contrast between exposed sunlight and secret shadows. It is like the symbol of human itself. I took many photos of people live in there, whose language I cannot speak, whose life history I never heard, sometimes whose name I do not ask. I encountered them just in a moment. However, when I see them in the photography something strange feeling occur in me, intimacy with them.
Without any personal information, people in photos reflect viewer's memory, imagination, and themselves. They live in far place, but very intimate.
